We ate here because it was the only place in Symi that did not scream about Seafood to you. Service was very Greek! This ancient hippy type of guy served us without a smile wearing this thick jumper! The place was totally in the shade for most of our stay. The food reminded me of my mums cooking, judge for yourself if that is a good thing! Not long after we arrived huge crowds of people followed, we arrived when it was empty, left when it was packed! Online reviews rank this one of the highest ranking restaurants on the island. It’s clearly much loved, the service was ok and the view was nice. The chicken fillet was as plain as plain can be, but when your a coeliac maybe that’s not a bad thing! Even in the smallest remotest corner it’s entirely possible to eat almost anywhere gluten free.

Very good food with a beautiful view of the evening and the lights around the harbor, good advice and, as a highlight, a small free dessert (perhaps due to the low season and to us as almost the last guests of the year? . Depending on the dish, prices are one to two euros more expensive than in other restaurants, but still: a clear recommendation! Service: Dine in
