Hazzard County Inn - Sylvan Lake

We had a satisfactory breakfast at Hazzard County Bar and Grill. This restaurant has a down-to-earth, blue-collar atmosphere, with staff and patrons mainly consisting of year-round locals. If you're expecting a fancy lakeside dining experience, this may not be the place for you. The décor is centered around Harley Davidson and classic rock themes, and the restaurant is dimly lit but relatively clean, despite a small issue with flies. The breakfast menu offered a variety of options at reasonable prices, with quality ingredients (such as real marbled cheddar on an egg sandwich) that set the food apart from fast food chains like McDonald's. While the meal was enjoyable, it's hard to go wrong with breakfast. The service, although slow even when the restaurant wasn't busy, was provided by friendly, down-to-earth staff who made sure we were well taken care of. Although Hazzard County Bar and Grill may not be earning Michelin stars any time soon, they offer decent food at a fair price.
