Market Tavern - Sykesville

Was excited to try this place for the first time, but was turned away for drinks around 6pm. Even though it says they close at 10pm on a Saturday. So kind of disappointed.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, but I was surprised to find that they charge a $10 corkage fee for bottles of wine purchased on-site, which seems quite high compared to other places that offer wine. The wine selection isn't particularly well-priced either. Overall, it feels too expensive here, and I've found better prices and seating options elsewhere. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

Nice spot with a limited menu featuring quality local items. It would be great to see more meat and cheese on the charcuterie board and less crackers and bread.

Great place for drinks after work, wonderful whiskey selection and plenty of wine to choose from and take home. Super friendly staff as well, always a great experience.

Fantastic atmosphere, refreshing ice-cold beer, and even better company! The bartenders and locals are incredibly friendly, creating a wonderful small-town vibe. I highly recommend paying a visit to experience it for yourself!
