Vanto - Sydney

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful pizza and pasta at very affordable prices. This was the best Italian food I've had in a long time. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Sydney.

Was here twice. for the first time was uncertain what to expect from their pizzas (has not read reviews), but both the normal and the GF pizzas surpassed the expectations. they had a real authenticity and were full of taste. for the gf pizza...base, this place knows what they do, it is beautiful and works well! also the size of the pizza is enough to fill a hungry person or for two to share as a beautiful lunchtime. the service is all good. some of the employees are more attentive, but all do their work well and efficiently. next time, I also have to test other dishes to get a wider exposition what this place can do.

My partner and I went to the birthday after vanto and had some of the best pizza we ever had in sydney. service was also impeccable, the staff went beyond and beyond to make the birthday feeling special. many thanks for such a pleasant experience.

The food was very good, the service was excellent, and the Italian waiter added to the typical Italian charm. The wine recommendation was also spot-on.

Vanto offers 'the Italian experience ' well, if this means a minimum of service from arrogant but good looking waiters, then they 've nailed it. We weren 't offered a table, and upon venturing inside because it was cooler, were told about the faulty air conditioning which...would likely drip on our heads. The first waiter shrugged and said I 'ave to tell you about it and wandered off. The next waiter offered us a menu but didn 't tell us about the specials and when we ordered didn 't suggest a side dish, which would have been appropriate when the meal came out. A salad with the gnocchi would have been perfect but we didn 't know this before we ordered. In fact we were given no assistance at all. Surely they want to sell their food? The indifference of the waiters was amusing, but not profitable for the restaurant. Their obvious boredom and disdain for their job and customers was palpable. Thankfully, the gnocchi was fantastic so yes, I 'd eat there again, but I 'll be better prepared. I 'd like to offer 3.5 rating the food was worth a 5, but the service at best, a 3.
