Silver Fox Cafe - Sydney

Today, I ordered a lovely warm loose leaf chai latte that tasted very fresh and natural. The poke bowl was beautifully presented and featured delicious, healthy vegetable ingredients. My favorite was the New Classic dish. Even though I'm not usually a big fan of tomatoes, they paired perfectly with the salmon, sourdough, feta, avocado, and dressing. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the restaurant.

I absolutely love this cafe! It's a charming local spot run by a family, offering a variety of delicious menu options and high-quality food. I highly recommend trying at least one dish there. It's also perfect for weekend brunch!

I ordered The New Classic, which was by far the best version of this dish I've had compared to other cafés (usually featuring a jumble of ingredients). The generous serving of cherry tomatoes and the basil-infused sourdough was delicious and a great touch. I appreciated that the salmon add-on was cut pieces with flavor rather than smoked salmon.<br/><br/>The 'Takes the Cake' hotcakes were fantastic.<br/>The service was decent; our plates arrived around the same time, though there was a bit of a wait since it was a busy weekend.

We headed to Mortdale to try out the new kid on the block, the Silver Fox Cafe. In a area with plenty of bakeries, charcoal chicken shops and grocery stores, Mortdale has been missing a quality cafe. This certainly fills that void. As soon as you enter this cafe, it feels fresh and the decor is on trend. Pine wooden pieces, cement floors and a touch of white, the cafe feels modern and we love the Kate Moss artwork in the back room. There’s also an outdoor area if you’d prefer to sit outside.

New local cafe with an innovative and exciting menu. Most dishes are pretty pricey, not many in the mid range. Regardless, the Baba’s bowl and really enjoyed it ! The serving was generous and the each component of the dish worked really well together. Loved the garlic yoghurt and there were nice big chunks of chorizo. Would be keen to come back sometime and try something else !
