Scary Canary Backpacker Bar - Sydney

I have so many positive things to say about this restaurant. The ambiance is pristine, the staff and bartenders were extremely friendly, and the music was fantastic. I have never had a dining experience quite like the one at Scary's, so I believe it is definitely worth your time, whether you visit as part of a restaurant hopping experience or for an entire evening. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.

This restaurant offers excellent food and a relaxed pub atmosphere during the day. At night, it transforms into a lively dance floor with DJs and the best vibes in Sydney. The bar staff are always dancing and having fun, and the other patrons are usually trouble-free (which is unusual for a nightclub in Sydney). I highly recommend this place.

Yesterday, I had a very uncomfortable experience at Scary Canary. I had organized a company party there and invited 40 people. I am a regular at this pub and enjoy the atmosphere and music, but after what happened, I won't be going back. Just before closing, a bouncer rudely snatched my phone from my hand, accusing me of filming the girls on stage inappropriately. In reality, I had posted a harmless Instagram story hours earlier promoting the bar on my company's account. Despite my attempts to explain, the bouncer humiliated me in front of my colleagues and customers. This incident has led to the loss of 41 customers who frequented the pub for happy hours and meetings. Scary Canary, teach your employees about customer service, especially your security staff.

Hot wings. Then you reap worship, atmosphere and great beers from Tap. Pool table available. No possibility for outside seats. Parking cold is a challenge.
