This place is easily missed as it is located on the grounds of The Mint building. However, it is a delightful and relaxing place to have a coffee and snack when you are out exploring Sydney, If you need a quiet place to rest - the veranda is perfect for this. Good variety of sweet items to have with your beverage. In addition, the small shop inside with a variety of items.
This is a lovely restaurant. The fact that it is situate in the old Mint building is quite fascinating. You can visit the Mint (now museum) before or after your dining time. The restaurant service is very good and the food is absolutely wonderful. Sitting out on the balcony overlooking the city is a great thing to experience. Even though I have lived in Sydney all my life, it's quite different to eat while overlooking (from a reasonable height)the streets, etc. which I've walked around, all these years.
I took 2 overseas visitors to Sydney for lunch, taking a chance as I'd not been there before but counting on the building and location to carry the day if necessary. I needn't gave worried, Delicious food, beautifully presented , and just the right level of service. Only a small menu but a good set of couches. Well worth checking out.
Nice bistro in oldest public building in Sydney. Very good barramundi and nice cheeseboard. Small but good wine list. Only issue, 3 people but only 1 mint with the bill?
