Nazimi - Sydney

Went here for my sisters birthday dinner (just the two of us) It is a lovely little place.

Small place with a great food! Nice service, but too long to serve the food.

Normally, we go to Sushi & Grill which is just up the street but we thought we would try somewhere different.

I've been here a few times but never realised how pricey it was! (For the serving sizes!) The portions are so tiny but about $20 for lunch, so it doesn't really work out to be an ideal lunch. Perhaps at dinner it'll be more acceptable, but my colleagues and I were a little taken aback when the meals came out. Especially my workmate who ordered the sashimi set and it was the $20 mark and she may as well have eaten nothing at all. I did enjoy it yes, but I almost always enjoy sushi, so I can't justify the price in relation to the portions unfortunately.

Went in for dinner for 2 on a Saturday night. Ordered blue cheese aburi sushi from the specials, the sushi entree size and the volcano roll. Dishes were pretty pricey for the serving size. Out of the 3 dishes, I enjoyed the volcano roll and thought that dish was the most reasonable for the price. I found the sushi rice in the sushi a bit dry..they broke apart when they're dipped into the soy sauce. The service was attentive and staff were friendly.
