Mejico - Sydney

I dined at Mejico CBD on a weekday night. My table for 2 was ready as soon as I arrived and we were seated straight away (walk in, no reservation at that time).<br/ What i enjoyed the most was the pork tacos (2 tacos per plate) it's quite a small portion however really delicious ! My next visit will def try the corn lollipop and margarita cheesecake.

Always our favorite every time we visit Sydney. In-house freshly made Guacamole and chips you must try! My favorite Mexican experience so far!

They prepare a delicious avocado dip right in front of you, using fresh ingredients like avocado pieces, lemon, chili, and red onion, paired perfectly with plantain chips. If you're a corn lover, don't miss out on their corn ribs - the sauce and cheese toppings enhance the dish wonderfully. Their spicy fried chicken is a standout, with the surprising addition of watermelon acting as a refreshing element. Overall, the restaurant offers fantastic Mexican flavors and innovative dishes.

The Halloumi cheese at this restaurant is superb. The tangy lime and agave nectar complement the briny cheese perfectly, and the potato bravas has a delicious balance of smokey paprika and a hint of spice.

Mejico on Pitt Street holds a very special place in my heart. It's where Nirry and I went on our first date, and we have since been there countless times for family birthdays, double dates, and most recently for my best friend's birthday. It has become a go-to spot for taking newly acquainted people or for a fun night out, especially around Cinco De Mayo when they offer specials on Tequila and Margaritas.
