Lord of the Fries - Sydney

I'm addicted to HSPs - what can I say? It's the season for it!! Seeing as I love vegetarian/vegan food, I decided to try out the epic LOTF HSP and my verdict? It was effing delicious! It came with veggie beef strips, cheese, siracha and BBQ sauce and oh my, the flavours were tantalising and refreshing! The veggie beef strips tastes quite similar to normal beef. I'm normally not much a beef eater (I love my cheeseburgers though) so this was a treat. I think the only downside is that this store is tiny and there's no place to eat your food. But I love how this opens until late so going here for a post-gig feed is always a great option! Funny story though - I didn't realise LOTF was a vegan/vegetarian restaurant until a couple of years ago and I bought a hot dog thinking it was a real one (it had a weird taste to it & never ate it since). Otherwise, LOTF always has great topping and sauces if you're a chip lover like me. They also have a great selection of burgers to munch on too!

This is so yucky I don't know if it can even be called food! Don't try the hot dogs unless you feel like vomiting. Mine and my friend's ones were absolutely gross. Luke warm, plasticky tasting tubes filled with mashed sawdust that had been rolled - yes, rolled - in salt. The condiments were crapola too. What's more, it's one of those places where they cut a 1cm deep slit into the hot dog roll, balance the sausage (feels wrong calling it that) and toppings on top, then insist on wrapping it in a paper bag, so you get smoosh and mess even before you start eating the damn thing. And I had such high hopes! What a disgrace!

Only tried the vegan peanut butter shake, and it was on another level. Who thought vegan drinks could taste so delicious? I have to go back and try the fries next time, everything on the menu is vegan!

Peanut Butter Shake : ???? Amazing So I had no idea that the whole menu was vegetarian/vegan but it didn't bother me. I only came in because I was attracted to the Vegan shakes and it was so tasty! Being lactose intolerant is annoying so to order a milkshake without having to tweak or ask for changes was so convenient. And it tasted pretty damn good. I'm keen to come back and try out the food.
