My friends and I stumbled on this place, next to the QVB, one rainy lunchtime. The food was varied, with a great choice of fish, meat and veg, all tasty and well presented. My sashimi was particularly good - among the freshest I have had, perhaps to be expected as the Fish Market is only 15 minutes away. Very friendly and attentive service from the French and Chinese waiters. And a modest bill given the quality of the food.
This Japanese restaurant in the CBD area is fantastic. They offer a wide variety of Japanese dishes. I went with friends and ordered the tonkatsu donburi, which was delicious and a good portion size. I will definitely try out some of their other dishes next time.
I was introduced to this restaurant by my partner and I am so grateful they did! I absolutely adore this place, the Japanese food is high quality and delicious. I highly recommend it for a nice lunch (perfect for office workers during the week) or dinner.
We all ordered soupy noodles because of the weather, and it was tasty (I got the udon). I also had a side of kimchi, which I always enjoy. The meal was a bit pricier than other udon places in the city, but the soup had more depth and flavor than instant packets. While it wasn't the best I've had, it was still a good meal. I would return if the wait time isn't too long.
