Hokkaido - Sydney

Hokkaido has been near Circular quay for ages now, they never seem full but I think they are quite good. Food is well made, flavoursome and reasonally priced. As it is usually quiet service is quick and attentive and no need to book.

Lovely and quaint cave-esque restaurant with a wide range of options. Got the Spicy Fish Don and it hit the spot. The sake came in a beautiful bottle and there was the cutest mini sushi kitty by the cashier.

I love this place. Corporate Japanese dining at its finest. The sake is my favourite here. Perfect for business lunches or dinner before a show at the Sydney Opera House. Try the nabe or dragon ramen.

This restaurant is easy to miss. It's situated in a little door way and down the stairs at Circular Quay. I really like the ramen here. It's as good as any place in Japan. I usually get the miso base with teriyaki chicken. I've also tried the shoyu base and it's great too. The ramen is nice and bouncy and they give you a good portion of chicken breast to go with it. Highly recommended for ramen lovers.

Just what a wanted, quick and delicious authentic Japanese. Takeaway was thoughtfully packaged. Yum. Great find! I ordered salmon avocado rolls- delicious and fresh and Hokkaido Miso Ramen. Very nice and reminded me a bit of Sapporo. Decor is old and tired, but takeaway gets 5 stars
