Had time to killl.and after a big Australia Day I figured another coffee would probably be for the best. Walked up the street to where the staff greeted me.with a friendly hello and great service. Coffee was good, but the staff are what I'd return for.
Clarendon Pizza offers a delicious vegetarian pizza topped with artichokes and eggplant.
This new cafe, open for only 3 months, offers delicious pizza and panini options. The industrial vibe, with brick walls and an open plan kitchen, adds to the atmosphere. The chicken panini was toasted perfectly, with rocket, semi-dried tomatoes, and Swiss cheese creating a harmony of flavors. The brick wood-fired oven produces authentic pizzas with freshly made dough. Despite the winter chill, the choice to sit indoors is preferable. The coffee is good, and the friendly staff are helpful. Daily specials, such as Rolled Pork Porchetta with roasted veggies, are worth trying. Overall, a must-visit spot in the area.
The new owners of Brickworks Café have done a fantastic job in updating both the café and the menu since January 2019. The atmosphere is cosy and rustic, the food is delicious, and the customer service is top-notch. It's clear that this is a family-run business and they are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend trying the Kofte Roll, made with spiced lamb mince meat, grilled capsicum infused with molasses, hummus, onion, parsley, and pickles - it's delicious! The coffee is also amazing, with a unique blend that is truly enjoyable. This place is definitely worth a visit, as there is not much else in the area that can compare. It's a popular spot at lunchtime, which is a testament to the great food they serve.
