However, it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. If you're looking to relax and catch up with friends on a Saturday morning, this may not be the best choice as the noise level can be overwhelming. The background music added to the noise level and made it hard to hear each other. Overall, it was a nice experience but we wished we could have stayed longer for a second round of coffee after breakfast.
The coffee is excellent, the staff is very friendly, the food is fresh, and the place is beautiful with lots of natural light and a pleasant appearance. No complaints about this café.
I went to the corner restaurant on a rainy and cold Saturday morning with a group of 8 people. I ordered the eggs benedict with crispy speck. The dish was beautifully presented and came with a bonus of crispy fried carrot chips, which paired well with the hollandaise sauce. The service was good and the staff was friendly. My friends also enjoyed their meals. The only complaint I have is that, while the decor looks nice, all the surfaces are hard and the acoustics make it a loud environment.
Are they passing, they thought they were a coffee, read the menu, ordered the eggs bennie. Now, they must understand, I have eaten eggs benedikt hundreds of times before, so what could a eckcafé do with it to make it different? Let's start with the thing. you Greek. then add a chef to the breakfast. beautiful golden egg with free sortiment, perfectly poched. crispy thin strips of slightly salted sweet potato legs bone ham. chefs own benediktsoße. edible flowers. I stared at it so long that it was almost cold! who serves such a wonderfully arranged plate to the breakfast? if you think it might cost me a time, then think again. the waiter asked me if I had enjoyed my eating. I told him it took all my restraint to not lick the damn teller!
It is inner city industrial chic in the suburbs hanging copper pendant lights, exposed brick, concrete floors. It can be noisy because of the floors but you can still have a conversation. The staff were warm efficient. It has that local neighbourhood vibe...about it I'm sure there are a number of regulars. My long time friend ordered a burger which she thoroughly enjoyed the bun was of an unusual colour but tasty. I ordered the stir fried gnocchi which was delicious. It was not swimming in sauce that usually overpowers the pasta. There is a daily specials board. I followed with a coffee which was done to my particular specifications. I'm fussy when it's comes to the strength of my coffee. This is a great addition to the area judging by the numbers I think they will do well.
