Mr Weekend Food Escapes and I decide for a Vietnamese lunch in Chatswood at An Viet. . An Viet is located just outside of Chatswood Westfield, a short walk from the train station. I'm pleased to see that all the tables are spaced out and are appropriately socially distanced at An Viet. I arrive at a little past 11am and there's already people in the restaurant. The decore is casual and best described as homely.
This restaurant is a good option for lunch if you're in the mood for Vietnamese cuisine, I would rate it a 3.5 to 4 out of 5. The noodle salad is delicious and the portion size is generous. However, I wish the Vietnamese coffee had more condensed milk in it.
I went to this restaurant for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find a good Vietnamese restaurant in Chatswood. The food took a little longer to come out, but it was delicious! The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Went here for a lunch the other day, it was pretty quiet maybe because i went there around 11am and it’s too early for lunch. Tried the regular combination pho and it has three different meat. They’ve got sliced beef, raw beef, and beef balls. I really like the soup as they are very tasty and a few pieces of the chopped chilies really add a little spiciness which was just perfect. It was a bit expensive but really worth it because of the taste and the portion. Definitely recommended if you’re craving for pho at chatswood
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant! Authentic Vietnamese including Bun Cha and Nem. Beer is cold, service friendly and accomodating. Decor is comfortable and atmosphere is relaxing! I love this place! Before I had to go to Marrickville to get the kind of Bun Cha I am used to from my many trips to Hanoi. Although traditionally a southern dish Bun Cha can vary from place to place but An Viet has it just right! Oh and their Pho is wonderfully tasty as well!
