Celtic Country Market - Sydney Mines

We purchased a bag of 6 pastries for our morning trip and they were delicious (even the next day).

We often come here for event catering, but that's about it. I'm not a fan of their cake (the crust is not to my liking) or their cookies/biscuits, but they do have a great variety of dishes. The crafts/antiques section is well-curated, although I find it a bit pricey. The staff is always attentive and helpful.

We frequently visit this restaurant for their bread and rolls, which are always fresh and delicious. The crafts and antiques can be a bit pricey, depending on what you're in the market for and who you ask.

We stopped while we drove through and overwhelmed the poor workers with our order of 6 slices of cake and pommes. after a past we got our food 2 at a time. they are not set up to feed more than 2. at a time. their baked were amazing and their datum places were fantastic! Don't stop here to eat. just get her to get her to go it is delicious!

Went here to talk to an antique dealer and found a great bakery and a knowledgeable antique dealer who had a lot of suprises that were not on the shelves. This dealer is very reliable. The bakery will allow travellers to stock up before the...Cabot Trail or the sail to Newfoundland. Great breads and those infamous Cape Breton Squares. And some very nice people who are hospitable and informative. Local Strawberries are available in season and the best on the Island; and there is usually a Lobster truck with lots of fresh fish from the fishermen doiwn the road.
