Fortune Star Chinese Restaurant

Food here was fresh and tasty . The decor leaves a lot to be desired it's an old building with a great need of repair. Food is cheap for lunch and plentiful.

Not good. Both meals looked and tasted exactly the same even though they were two completely dishes...have eaten in many Chinese restaurants and will never go back to this one! Sorry.

Absolutely delicious food. 5 of us from our family went out for Chinese food for our annual New Year's Day dinner. We are all so full, and satisfied with our meals. Great service as well

I was starving and we were looking to have a late lunch and when my fiancee suggested chinese food i thought...YAAAAH! So i looked on tripadvisor and researched chinese restaurants in sydney, NS. Fortune seemed to have some of the best reviews but i will not be back. I have eaten authentic chinese in many different cities so unfortunately once you do that you cant go back to stirfried, carrots, celery and onions in every dish.....thats just what canadians need to feel safe eating chinese....but it isnt special or authentic at all. Here are photos of our 3 dishes cashew chicken, mixed vegetables and szechuan beef. Can you see the unique differences? ....me neither

My better half decided to take me to this restaurant for a date/early mothers day supper. I had combination plate E and he has combo plate J - and they were both absolutely delish - and cheap - you get ALOT of food - and it was also very fast serving it. I was there once before years ago when it was under a different name(lamb was in the title) but food was just as delish back then - thank you so much - we will be back for sure - he said it's his new fav place in sydney !
