Sam's Pizza Sycamore

Awesome pizza great sauce crust and the sausage is one of the best I've ever had

Pizza would’ve been good if it wasn’t extremely burnt. Also called less than 30 min after they opened to order, told an hour wait. Which was fine. Pizza took over an hour and a half to get here (we live 5 min away). When we called, we were just given excuses with no apologizes or solution other than sending a new pizza and our kids need to go to bed so we couldn’t wait for that. Would’ve loved to love this place, but beyond disappointed for my first time ordering.

Chicago style pizza is actually tavern style pizza, not deep dish. Sam 's has the best thin crust tavern style around. Never disappoints

We've ordered pizza from Sam's over 10 years and it has always been great. We moved so we've had to come in and dine in our last 2 trips. Our last experience wasn't great but maybe they were just having an off night. We called the order in and someone taking it wrote it down wrong. It takes over an hour to make the pizza even though we called it in 20 minutes in advance. We asked for the pizza well done. So it got to our table under cooked and missing toppings. It just was very bad and not edible. We drove all the way out here just for this pizza lol, so it was a bad experience we probably won't do again. But I didn't rate them low because they're usually great if you live in Sycamore, it's the best pizza in town.
