Moorside Farm - Swinton

The pub and serving staff were lovely, unfortunately, it was a wasted trip as according to the patron, they don't serve food anymore and don't have a kitchen, although the beer garden was comfortable. We parked around the back and noted that parking was for patrons which was fine as we were , until I received a £100 fine, at no time were we made aware that there was supposedly a place to sign in. Amazing atmosphere and excellent customer service from all staff. One of the best features is the big beer garden which has great entertainment using the speakers to give the customers that little bit more of a great enjoyable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone as it as the potential to accomadate to a variety of different people. For over a hundred years there was a hedge all around the place,then they arrived,the hedge ripped up,habitat for sparrows gone,what for ? so you can see people in the beer garden?

An absolutely amazing pub, great atmosphere, extremely clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and courteous, one of the bonuses is that the pub has a function room that can be hired out for all sort of functions and events. Not forgetting the ample car parking which is free and lovely garden, pool table and darts. A visit is a must.
