Contribuiți la feedbackDefinitely worth the drive, even though the road is not completely paved and quite rough in many areas. We did not stay overnight, just came to hike, and have lunch at Ptarmigan Dining Hall. The parking lot sits high above the hotel, with a number of steps getting you down to lake level. There are multiple opportunities to take great photos along the way. The inside of the hotel has that wonderful lodge-feel that you get in many of our national parks.

Loved our stay here and would stay the next time. Rooms were what you’d expect at a national park lodge-rustic-and there was no daily room service. The draw is the location and proximity to amazing hikes. Loved meeting the national park workers in the dining room and talking with other travelers. My sense is that this hotel is the best in the park.
Absolutely stunning. A classic, National Park lodge with a long history. The setting is just unparalleled and you'll see a lot of wildlife, even within steps from the hotel. Plenty of great hiking nearby.Nearby activities: Hiking the Grinnell-Glacier Trail was a nice half-day trip. We walked the whole route but you can take the boat to cut your trip time.
Historical and Iconic hotel inside Glacier National Park. We stayed here during our vacation at Glacier National Park and really had a wonderful time. The park is conveniently located to a lot of hiking trails. The view from the Hotel is amazing. They have restaurants inside and they even have a park ranger that gives information and talk about the park and its natural surroundings and habitats. Highly recommend staying in this place.
