The Gallery Cafe - Swansea

My friend and I are absolute foodies and we love trying new spots for lunch. I was absolutely blown away with the lunch here. We attended the 12pm sitting and it was full, busy and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. There was a choice of meats to go with your roast and plenty of options for starters and desserts something for everyone! The food came out hot and tasty with plenty of potatoes, gravy and veg for us to share. I can honestly say, it's a definite recommendation for you Sunday lunch lovers!

Amazing. Food is always spot on. Venue great. Menu doesn’t alter but it’s good quality. Been going here YEARS and never had a bad meal. You can’t fault it. Prices good wine great lovely atmosphere. Best pub for miles. Occasionally call into bar for a drink and it’s great.

We visited last night for a family birthday. Been before, but not for a while. Four adults and one pre-teen with very specific likes and dislikes! The choice of food was amazing. Specials boards, saver menu, fish, steak, pasta...... It's all there. I had the mushrooms with a cheesy tomato sauce to start, which was gorgeous, and then the fish curry half and half. The chips were gorgeous, and the curry was out of this, world! My husband couldn't make it, so I asked if I could order a takeaway for him. The waitress said that most things could be packed to take away, so I ordered him a chicken curry half and half. Everyone's meals arrived together, and our waitress was attentive but not overly so. We were allowed to eat our meals at our own pace without feeling rushed. My stepdad has dementia, so can take ages to choose and then to eat, but again, we weren't rushed. All agreed the meals were lovely. Nobody could manage dessert, although there were, again, many choices. Our waitress brought out my husband's curry when we asked for the bill, and it was piping hot and well packed. All in all, a hugely enjoyable evening was had by all xx

This restaurant is unmatched when it comes to serving excellent pub food that is high in quality. The food, atmosphere, and staff are all top-notch, providing great value for money. The specials menu is a fantastic option for those looking to save some money without feeling like they are skimping on their meal. The desserts are especially delicious and are not just an afterthought like in many other places. Plus, the restaurant is always open, so there's no need to worry about the kitchen closing early.

We made a reservation for a group of friends for Christmas dinner and had a wonderful afternoon from beginning to end. The staff was incredibly attentive and the Christmas dinner was delicious, with plenty of turkey, vegetables, and scrumptious gravy. The staff even took photos of us. We were not disappointed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for home-cooked meals in a cozy atmosphere. Skip the chain restaurants and taste real home cooking at Kingsbridge.
