Friendly Chinese Take Away - Swansea

Haven't used this place for a long time due to covid ect.. had special chow mein, special curry, spare ribs, king prawn balls,pancake rolls, to me special chow mein is a mix of noodles and a mix of meats and a few prawns ..this was plain noodles with a few bits of meat on top..special curry had no prawns .king prawn balls batter so thick spoilt the taste, spare ribs well undercooked, just about edible...this place used to be tidy ..I guess the covid break has something to do with the quality of the food and style of cooking and this is another casualty... perhaps it will recover to its former status who knows....

Last week we ordered a takeaway, service was good and quick food was absolutely dire. I rang them and explained, I spoke to a lovely guy, Mark, who said he would speak to manager and ring me back. He was true to his word and told me we could re order any time and it would be taken off what we had paid. I rang tonight and asked to speak to mark and we did a different order which came on time and was very nice. Mark is an absolute credit to this takeaway and I give him 5*

Ordered takeaway 5.30pm for delivery at 8pm, turned up at 9.50pm nearly two hours late. Food was warm not hot. Curry had powdered lumps in, chips werent too bad. All I can say that the curry tasted awful. Tangy, like a vinegar taste Paid £17 with delivery. Will never ever buy again or recommend

I ordered using an NHS discount at 17:33 through just eat. I was given a delivery time of 20:15. At 20:20 I received an email from just eat saying my order was cancelled with no other explanation. No one had tried to phone me about my order. I was unable to contact the restaurant using their phone number instead going to answerphone. I tried to leave a negative review of the restaurant on just eat but this seemed to be blocked (I even discussed this with the Just Eat help chat).

We ordered a takeaway at 1 720 hrs via justeat and we're told on booking that our world be over 2 hrs, which was fine, we weren't in any hurry. The estimated time then changed to 1955, which was a little inconvenient, but not the end of the world. At 2005 we received a message from justeat that the order had been cancelled and the restaurant was closed. I appreciate that during this difficult time things can be a little unpredictable, but if the restaurant was closed why did my order go through. They had my order for 3 hrs before cancelling it. I read a similar review of this restaurant last week but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I will not be doing so again
