Dragon Boat - Swansea

The great thing is the food is freshly made to order, excellently cooked and delicious. We had sweet and sour pork, honey and pepper chicken and SFR.

Chicken n blackbean sauce was horrible, not much juice, the chicken was to chunky, chicken chow mean was tasteless, AVOID

Well well, first time we've ordered from Dragon Boat, and what a nice surprise! The food was fresh and perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious, the best Chinese takeaway we've had in a decade. We've tried many Chinese takeaways in Swansea, and Dragon Boat stands out as easily the best. We will definitely use them from now on.

We have ordered food from The Dragon Boat less less regularly over the years due to the continually dropping standards. We whittled their poor fayre offerings down to the house special fried rice with gravy,prawn crackers a side small carton of sweet sour sauce over successive consistent disappointments with their other offerings. Surely there can be a better reason to order a take away than “it can’t be as poor as last time surely?”-Think again. We order these supplement these by making our own chicken curry (we like to have more than 4 to 6 small chunks of chicken in ours you see) So we use Mayflower chinese curry sauce mix which is just as good if not better than theirs much cheaper. We use the Iceland pancake/spring rolls (exactly the same as theirs but much cheaper) Icelands crispy battered oriental chicken balls (much better than theirs these don’t have the slimy inner coating of grease again much cheaper) Well last night they finally excelled themselves now these are also off our menu for us to order. House special fried rice with gravy-shards of bark like meats on a slop of mushy disintegrated rice! I have to be fair here now though the prawn crackers were only slightly stale damp this time! Poor,poor,poor,poor,poor,poor,poor, My advice would be for the Dragon Boat to up anchor sail on.

Very welcoming and attentive staff. The food was excellent and the service was the the same. I thoroughly recommend it and will be definitely going again.
