Chicken On The Hill - Swansea

Manager and staff awful. Food WRONG and refused to replace! Have been using this place for about 3 years won't be again!

Been using this place for last 3 years and food is wrong most of the time, just find it amusing to see what error is going to occur each time. Tonight I was quoted 45 mins for delivery, after an hour I called for an update and was told it left a few minutes ago 20 mins later it still hadn 't arrived so either I had been lied to or food was definitely going to be cold, now the main problem I had is my friend has learning difficulties and when someone says 45 mins he expects that or close to it, i on the other hand am a lot more reasonable and tolerant, so when food arrived which was a cold kebab in a foil container that you would expect to be hot, however out of good will I paid for mine and the delivery fee. Went into kitchen to open it and put salt etc on it, and there was a knock on the door it was the delivery driver who had been ordered to give my money back and collect my food. Don 't think this is the best way to treat a customer that has been ordering from them at least once a week for the past 3 years. Won 't be attempting to fix the situation, with attitude like that good luck to them.

We have placed many orders from this place since moving here locally. Dispite orders being wrong, items missing, food cold. However tonight, Owner was very rude, tonight he was supposed to replace an item from a previous order that was smothered in GONE OFF MINT SAUCE, the sauce was extremely sour. He said he would replace next time i order. (not the best response, but i said no wrys) However, upon placing a new order for my son tonight, he abruptly said 'that if i wanted the replacement from last time then i needed to walk to the shop because he wasnt doing deliveries ' (which makes no sense as thats 90% of his trade) after some back and forth, he agreed to deliver but said i need to wait and hour and then tried to charge me £6 for delivery (im a 10min walk from the shop) chicken was burnt and dry. Chips had been double cooked, oily and inedible. Extra sauce was missing but still charged. Im not going to bother complaining, hes a waste of time and I will never order from here again, its an absolute gamble every time.

Walked in the smell of fat was horrendous wanted a pizza, but all they wanted to do was sell me burgers. The smoke coming from the fryer with the chicken was very off putting
