The Saucery No Joke Smoke Bbq, Swansea, Massachusetts

This was such an amazing meal! Thank you! I want to go back every day and work my way through the menu. Today, though I came in and had lunch and loved it. I ordered a small plate of ribs, some cole slaw and a side of cornbread. Everyone working there really cared about helping you order the meal you'd really enjoy just to make sure you had the best experience. Did I mention the place was super clean and spotless? Back to the meal, the cornbread(gluten free) was amazing it very well become my new definition of a comfort food starter. The ribs which were amazing fell off the bones. This is tall order for this part of the country I might add. The sauce!  Whoah the sauce iswhy this place is here. Your sauce will make your meal. Seriously the guy eating with me came here for his second visit for a veggie option and he loves the sauce. The sauces, are hand made and seasonal. Crazy fresh and the range fromsweet to spicy really cool. I have been looking for great smoked meat place that was casual, clean and fun. I found it here at No Joke Smoke. I totally recommend it. Totally. No Joke. No Joke.

I wanted to rate this place a 3.5 star, Google reviews doesn't do half stars. So I rounded up since I believe they are better than a 3 star. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, nice cozy place with some cool decor. I ordered the pulled pork, brisket and ribs along with corn bread and baked beans for sides. The ribs and brisket has a nice bark, I didn't see any smoke rings. The meat was also very dry, but they've managed to get a nice smokey flavor on the meat. Thepulled pork was okay, it was juicy but the smoke flavor wasn't noticeable the corn bread and baked beans was very good. Overall not a bad experience, smoke bbq is very hard to do and it won't be perfect every single time. I look forward tocoming back, although not yet perfect, it hits the spot. I have no doubts that they will keep improving.

Super friendly service and a great atmosphere. Really cool laid back place with great food. I got the pulled pork and what impressed me is that it's got a delicious flavor and juiciness without sauce. That's a hard thing to achieve. Don't get me wrong, the sauces are delicious, but they're an accessory not a necessity. The brussel sprouts are SO good and a must order. We ordered a bit of a variety and there wasn't a bad bite in the bunch. They've also got a nice selection ofbeers and local Empire soda. Bring your appetite!

I simply don't know how to put into words how good this place is. We found via the find me gluten free app and read the reviews on that app. Being some who has Celiac Disease knowing that one of the owners has Celiac made me feel very comfortable. My wife ordered a fried chicken sandwich and I had pulled pork and brisket. The food was so good we sat there in disbelief and awe and barely said a word to each other. You could literally taste the love and dedication thatwent into the food. The wife of the husband and wife that own this place was our server. She was super attentive and super friendly and made this experience even better. We will be taking the drive to go to this place multiple moretimes. If you are looking for out of this world bbq and awesome atmosphere this is your place and the fact that its completely safe for those of us with Celiac makes it even better.

Ribs were so good, I'm leaving a 5/5 even though the mac and cheese was a no go. Not a fan of the cherry pepper bbq sauce the sweet one is where it's at. I wish I had more sauce.
