The George And Dragon - Swanscombe

I decided to hit the "george and dragon" to see the irland w england rugby game. the atmosphere was very friendly and the bar staff (gary) was excellent as usual. the more likely was their usual high standard and the impromptu buffet was both welcome and delicious. the only disadvantage (not to do with the pub) was the result of the game!

Probably the best pub in the opposite for a selection of good ales. the staff is friendly and the food is great. had the rippchen and shouldn't have eaten all day! huge and delicious.

Almost want to keep this quiet it's so good. Best pub for miles. Proper pub. Excellent beers and lager. Great place for food.

In area where you'd least likely find a decent real ale pub, here is a really good one. Four hand pumped ales from microbrewers, more interesting than usual food (try the sausage roll, very tasty if a little greasy) and old fashioned nick-nack decor. Pretty handy for Ebbsfleet FC (15 minutes walk) and it was jammed with Orient fans on my visit. I enjoyed a Northern Monk Eternal session IPA and a New Zealand pale, both nicely kept.
