Madoco - Swan River

We have scheduled travel for several years for our annual Manitoba fishing trip to include an overnight stop at Swan River to specifically have dinner at Madoco’s. It is an absolutely superb dining experience in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Over the years we have enjoyed grilled bone-in Berkshire pork chops, grilled veal chops, rack of lamb, smoked salmon bisque, scallops, mushrooms, desserts, et al.We always feel we are invited dinner guests with our friends, Margaret and Doug, the owners, rather than just restaurant customers. Delightful people and great food has and will continue to provide pleasant, long-lasting memories. Tom and DickUSA

I have eaten here twice in the last 30 days and it was excellent. I would easily compare the meal I had with Gordon Ramsey's Steak House in Vegas.

Had a great meal and great service. The setting is just perfect for a nice quite meal. The music softly playing and relaxing place to end your day. ????

Some of the best meals I've had. Always cooked to perfection. Don't let the fine dining worry you, it's super relaxed and the atmosphere is great for a nice evening and I'm not the fine dining type.

Started with a reservation for 2, but was expanded to 6 on short notice. Madoco was able to handle the change. Service was excellent and the food was superior. Did not think we would find such a gem in Swan River.
