Greggs - Swale

I really enjoy the vegan sausage rolls at this restaurant, and even my non-vegan friends and family like them too! They used to have a delicious vegan cheese and bean melt, but I think they've replaced it with a Mexican style pastry. The staff was very helpful when I was enquiring about the vegan options, especially with the doughnuts, explaining which ones were vegan and which were made with non-vegan ingredients. My only complaint is that they don't have plant-based milk options – they only offer soy milk in a disposable plastic cup (which isn't great and costs extra).

Always enjoy a vegan sausage roll here and they also have vegan ring doughnuts. I never see the sandwiches or baguettes in stock though.

There isn't much to say about Greggs as it is well-known throughout the country. The sittingbourne location is always bustling with activity. I had a tea and sausage roll and received good service, although it was a bit slow at times due to how busy it was. It seemed like there weren't enough staff working the counter. Overall, the food was tasty and the quality was good. I just wish the staff would be more attentive and not constantly disappearing to the back of the shop.

This restaurant is a five-minute walk from Sittingbourne station. They offer delicious and affordable sandwiches and cakes. I did try a vegan sausage roll, but unfortunately they have not yet caught on in Kent!

I enjoyed the cheese and the charcuterie plate, but I wish it was served hot. However, I appreciated that everything was freshly cooked.
