The food is okay, but average. The service is also okay, but far from something special. The ratings are better, than the reality

The host, the food, the atmosphere is great. We highly recommend this place. I have been there many times before and I will be back next time I’m in Lofoten. Guaranteed! Local food, the best there is!

If you are in Henningsvær you have to have a dinner here. Book your table because it is very popular in the season. This is a hidden gem and a place I will go back to… again and againthe menu focus on the local food from Lofoten and the season. Beautiful place with artisan food made with tonns of passion.

An experience with food creations that we weren’t expecting when we first entered. Each dish is fully explained. The chef lady came out and went around to each table to talk to us about the food. They have a real passion for food creations. We went with a 5-course meal with each portion perfectly sized, that had a variety of flavors. A lot of time is spent engaging with guests and it is a very calm environment. I liked everything.

Family of three with a reservation. A charming yet refined dining room in the middle of town, we received a warm greeting and prompt seating. Staffed by what we assume are the owners with one out front and one in the open kitchen making culinary magic. We opted for a tasting menu that delivered flawlessly prepared Norwegian favorites with a modernist flair. Highlights were an Asparagus dish and Lamb. Personable and very knowledgable we were given great detail in preparation and sourcing demonstrating a joy and pride in the experience they provide. Well deserving of their high rating and set a standard of quality in a town at risk of shift to quantity over quality due to high tourism influx. Well done!
