Talay Thai Cuisine - Suwanee

The coconut soup at this restaurant is top-notch and one of the best in the area. I also highly recommend the basil chicken. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and the food is consistently fresh and of excellent quality. The only downside for me is that everything tends to be a bit too sweet. However, I would definitely return just for the soup, basil chicken, and Thai iced coffee. The fried spring rolls and fresh spring rolls are also delicious. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. I ordered drunken noodles and tom kha kai. Unfortunately, the soup was disappointing. When I asked if they made it themselves, they replied affirmatively. However, the soup did not taste or look like authentic Thai soup that I have had in Thailand or Chamblee/Dunwoody. As a result, my stomach is now upset. Additionally, the noodles in the drunken noodles dish were overcooked.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, the place is clean, and the background music is nice. The Spicy Thai Cashew dish with veggies and 9 perfectly cooked shrimp was delicious, earning it a 5-star rating. However, the fried rice combo was a bit light on shrimp, earning it a 4-star rating. Overall, it was a good dining experience and I will definitely be back!

We ordered some fresh rolls as appetizer which is good and we order lo mein noodles, massaman curry, fired rice which all are good, worth it for what you pay.

There is limited parking available by the restaurant, it can get busy during peak hours. It?s pretty close to the Assi plaza. Very casual dining, only indoor seating available. A fair selection of Chinese and Thai food available. Only a fewother table were there when we went for dinner. So we were seated right away and service was pretty fast too. Thai tea: tasteddelicious! Not too sweet which I appreciated. Potstickers: very crispy, more on the lighter seasoning for the filling. Tom yumsoup with chicken: if you like sour/more acidic flavor, this is the perfect soup for you! Not spicy, although you can ask for myspice. I do wish the soup was actually boiling?but it was at least warm. Spicy Thai Spaghetti with shrimp: we got 3 out of 5for spicy level. It had a hint of spicy but the bell pepper sweetness balanced it out. The shrimp felt a littleundercooked. Panang curry with pork: also got a level 3, but this definitely had more of a kick to it! The curry has a richcoconut flavor but still spicy! Overall really enjoyed the meal here and would be back.
