Mike's Grill - SUTHERLAND

Must come for the scnitzels. mexikaner or the four cheese for me! be good to finish as the carvings are huge! newly renovated, so is now quite modern and funny. is pretty busy, so do not forget to book!

Came here to my birthday as it was a Monday and quite the only place in the opposite open. had garnish court that was pretty good. sad I decided to repeat the visit on the next Saturday, and I guess being busy would affect the quality of what was served. order again. they came out pretty fast, so a bad omen was. Now we all know that only 2 minutes will last, but I guess they were sitting on the heat while the steaks were cooked. you think you like balls. I didn't finish my meal. a popular place for large groups, but very loud. So I won't really come back.

The small grill is great, the cute sizes are generous and the food is always delicious and fresh.

On Monday evening to a quick drink and dinner. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of seating, which does not mean to sound like there was no other. for a Monday evening it had a good deal. the salt and pfeffer prawns with chips and salad for $26. rec’d a large meal cooked with 12 large garnels and seasoned perfectly. the meal took about 15 minutes to get to the table. very impressed by eating and service especially on a Monday evening. will return to try their other elements on the menu. even the specials looked good.

Mike's Grill is a pretty decent bistro with classic pub grub options (and a handful of schnitties and parmis). Our only complaints are that it only opens for a few hours during lunch and the prices are somewhat steep for pub grub (at least for the schnitzels). However, we realised that the prices made somewhat more sense when we were served; the schnitzels were massive! As for quality, the food at Mike's wasn't too bad. As for the other elements of our dining experience service and ambience they were fine. Staff were accommodating and the enclosed outdoor dining area was a nice touch by the pub. The place was clean, comfy, casual and great for grub and grog.
