McGinny's Pub - Sussex

Excellent food, fun & relaxed atmosphere. A place to get together with Friends or family for a nice evening out. Great good, large portions, great value for the money. Friendly staff.

This is a great little restaurant. We eat here often. Great Food, service and prices. Would recommend to anyone.

Food was awesome and the staff were great. It says it's a pub but is a resturant that you can bring kids to also which is awesome. Can't wait to get back to try more things on their menu.

We went to this restaurant after the balloon festival on a Saturday night. The service was very slow as the waitress was new, very friendly and apologetic but inexperienced. No drinks came until well after the food. No forks or napkins to eat with until after the food was delivered. It was not busy with only about 4 tables being occupied. The food which was just wings and nachos was the worst food I have ever been served. The nachos were so stale that I near spit the one I tried out onto the plate. My daughter and I were sharing the meal and she was so hungry she was crying. She could not even eat one wing. The wings tasted like they were old. I refused to pay for the nachos as this was totally unacceptable. Paid for the old wings and the beer I had and went to Subway. My friend ordered the Cesar salad and the croutons were toast?? She barely touched any of her food and her daughter could not eat hers ( wings). She paid $38 for food she barely touched and we went home disgusted and hungry. I would never try this place.

Traveling through and looking for lunch and a few beers, came across this pub. Do not judge the book by the cover. Pleasant seating on outdoor patio with umbrellas. Served very quickly and efficiently. Good choice on menu. Food arrived quickly and our waitress continued to be very attentive throughout our meal. Good value or money.
