It is so rare to find a caffe in surry hills that is in the deep. they do not have 63 grade eggs, nitrate-free speck, fee floss top fruit cake, or edible flowers. they offer basic breakfast menu consisting of eggs on toast, smash avocado for less than $10. they also have a few burger options with Asian influence under $15. this is a no-frill café that is only used to make the foundations right. their use pablo rusty coffee beans, it is a bit too milky for my taste, but overall not too bad. the decor is bright and airy, but feels like directly from ikea. but again they do not try to be “cool and funky”. a lot of luck for them to stay what they are.

I went here on a rainy day and they greeted me with warm warmth of the barrist anna. I ordered a barkburger with a side of chips for $10, it tasted heavenly and warmed me inside, it was very humid and was very generous with the crispy pommes. the barrister anna made me a cappuccino, the latte art was beautiful and the way it went was not bitter and very smooth it was so good. overall great experience, everyone should try!
