Flint Steakhouse Cafe - Surry Hills

We had lunch there with a large group yesterday. It was ok. The meals were descent (nothing great but not bad either) and the prices were pretty reasonable. Handy location near central station. Bit tricky to find as sort of around the back of the centennial plaza building.

We popped across for breakfast this morning and enjoyed a hearty eggs on toast with grilled tomatoes and a full works with two large coffees for $30! Much better value than the continental brekkie offered at our nearby hotel. Good service too in sun-drenched surroundings. No nasty chemical smell either! Could easily become a regular venue during our stay.

We ate lunch here as a family with three children and the food and service were excellent. The counter staff and kitchen staff were able to adapt their menu for our children and the food and drinks were quickly prepared. Great quality and value for money. Would eat here again when in this area of Sydney.

If you have business in 280-300 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills this is a great place for a quick lunch. I ordered the chicken breast schnitzel and it was delicious, it came with crisp hot chips and a small salad. The place was pretty full but despite this the service was friendly and efficient. I will definitely be back again.

Myself and my co workers had a thai beef salad from this cafe. The meat was undercooked and the salad was old and had small mites in it. Not good at all.
