Contribuiți la feedbackFriendly service. Reasonable prices (for Surry Hills). Simple but good menu. Ample seating inside or out. Perfect coffee! The only thing that lets this place down is that they served my toast preserves order with the butter and jam already on it. And there was lots of jam! Exactly how I don't like it, so I found myself scraping it off and wondering why any cafe would pre-spread a customer's toast as though they're 5yo.Had to deduct a point for that.
The staff was lovely enough to organise a setup of a 25 person booking for a welcome team lunch. It took up most of the cafe but the staff was very accommodating and even without giving them pre-orders the food came out swiftly. I was impressed st the speed of service for a non-commercialised cafe like this one.<br/ <br/ The cafe offered mostly pastas, burgers, sandwiches and some all day breakfast classics like eggs benedict and the big breakfasts (including vegetarian options! . I had the Cannelloni with spinach, ricotta and tomato sauce. My collegue said there was too much cheese, but its cheese! I love ricotta and I couldn't get enough of it, the tomato sauce was delicious and I was thankful that the pasta was not tough at all.<br/ <br/ Prices are affordable compared to most cafes in Surry Hills. Come for simple, affordable and tasty food.
Fantastic burgers and pasta, sandwiches. Great service, really nice team there. Go there regularly and am never disappointed. Not sure why they have a bad ranking!
Went here coz my tummy still begging for more XD (despite my 'green ' lunch box)Had mini Rye slider with Fritatta, Bacon, hollandaise sauce, mayo for $5....Like the Creamy Fritatta..Like the Rye Bread, once toasted became crispy..one sauce should be enough a dash of pepper or herbs would be nice..Nice concept, Good value for money and have rooms for improvement..
Exceeded my expectations: wooden setup full of warmth, plenty of tables, blackboard menu plus sandwiches displayed, the chicken burger came on a wooden
