Golden Medal Restaurant - Surrey

Terrible food. I asked to make sure curry chops suet was gluten free. They said yes it is with corn starch and I said ok that is good. They gave me powdered curry that sticks to your mouth, teeth, lips and oil. It was disgusting consistency. I called them to tell them I think they made a mistake and gave no sauce, their excuse was I wanted gluten free and no cornstarch. Wtheck I said no I said it was ok for cornstarch. So frustrating being on the go and dinner was expensive and it’s very gross. The beef and broccoli has no flavour either. I’m never going back.

Excellent dinner and great service the portions were large and at an excellent price point.Traveled from the other side of town and the drive was well rewarded with this gem of a restraunt.

The food was insipid and flavourless. We ordered the chicken chop suey and curry chop suey; they were both bathed in heavy oil (it seemed that all they did with the curry dish was just put curry powder in the food and mix it in). To top it off they were parsimonious with the meat; it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack (I believe I found 4 small pieces of meat in the entire TWO dishes). Never again!

Food is good and always ready quickly i go at least once a.month for take its a little pricey

Worst food paid 80.00 no taste smelled so bad order chicken only 4 pieces off chicken the rice was very bsd had mold smell to it never order from here very poor CSR. Sending reporting to health food services who knows maybe full off mice and rodents .
