Great food and service! Owner was super friendly and recommended the roast lamb dinner, which was really tender and delicious. The rice was a bit undercooked, but as a whole it was absolutely worth getting. Fast service from ordering to being served.

Ordered the pizza. Authentic Greek style pizza. Amazing homemade crust and sauce, real mozzarella cheese. Make sure you order it “ old school” with the cheese on top of the toppings. Way better this way… and authentic! Great value for the price and the owner is very nice.

My Wife and I recently celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. She loves Greek Food. I found this place based solely on reviews. In the past i have ENJOYED Greek Food, but this restaurant has forever set the Bar for which Greek Restaurants should be measured. Fabulous food, fabulous service, and a great atmosphere. If I could a 10/5, I would.

OK, so if not for the decline in quality of one dish in particular, I would probably be scoring a 4 star review. TBH, the staff seem very nice, and I don't have any issue with staff or service.During the covid lockdowns, we tried to give local businesses our business, to try and help the community. When we 1st discovered Assinis, we were very happy with the food quality and portions. One dish in particular, the Roast Lamb Shoulder, was my wife's favorite. However, over the last 6 months or so, that lamb size has shrunk so much, that the last 2 times we ordered, my wife asked why I keep ordering a half order. Of course I'm not ordering a half order. The container felt like there was almost nothing in it, and barely filled a 3rd of the container. TBH, I was not happy to see something so sad, and almost drove it back to return it. The souvlaki seems to have suffered as well. Containers stuffed with rice, but dry souvlaki and potatoes were kind of sad. But not to the extent of the roast Lamb though. IMHO, quantity doesn't replace quality. I truly hope it turns around so we can try them again, but for now, I think we'll give someone else a shot.
