Akari Japanese - Surrey

We passed by delta and by accident we had dinner here, tasty special rolls, tempura and Odom all were good,staff were awesome.

I have been here several times & they are consistently fantastic. Their Rock'n Roll roll is delicious. The unagi on that roll is the best out all the sushi places I have been to. Also their shrimp gyoza are very tasty .The service is good too.

Akari restaurant is a gem located in Surrey/Delta area. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner in December and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The portions are plentiful and the sushi rolls are unique and original. You must try the Akari Roll and the Rock and Roll roll...out-of-this-world. Finally, I highly recommend the tempura at Akari, in my opinion it is the finest in Vancouver. Akari has a tempura chef that specializes only in tempura and that is all he does and have been doing for over 20 years. The tempura is light, crispy, not oily, and seasoned to perfection. Great work!

Excellent food, excellent service. If you order one of the bento boxes they will exchange for other food if there is something you dont eat/

We went for Sushi for a break from Christmas turkey. We shared the large boat with Sashimi, Alaskan and Pink roll, Gyoza and miso soup. It was great. We went on December 27 and the place was full. They currently have a Kirin draft beer special on as well. We particularly like the black rice you can choose for an extra dollar per person. This is restaurant has consistently high quality Japanese food. We are regular visitors.
