The Windmill - Surrey Heath

This pub is a hidden gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The selection of drinks was impressive, with a wide variety of beers, cocktails, and spirits to choose from. The food was delicious too, with mouthwatering appetizers and hearty mains that satisfied my cravings. The pub had a great ambiance, with live music adding to the lively atmosphere. It's definitely a place I would recommend for a fun night out with friends!

Arrived for the festive menu, for which we had specifically booked, to be told that sorry, festive menu not available. Chose gammon from main menu not available. Extremely slow service, plates cold, salad was meagre and without some of the listed items and they charged £5 extra for 4 very small pieces of feta cheese.

We love The Windmill. Always provide excellent service and the food is lush. Also enjoy the seasonal menus. We will be back soon!

I visited with a friend for lunch, this was my first visit to The Windmill. I ordered from the set menu, 2 courses. My starter was mushrooms which were delicious, so delicious that I I could have had more. My main course was the chicken burger with fries which was tasty. My friend ordered prawns as a starter and the fish and chips as the main course. She commented that her food was good. I thought the 2 course set menu was a good price, I think it was £18.50. The staff were friendly and efficient. I thought the pub decor was lovely and very welcoming. Most of the tables were full so there was a good atmosphere. My only negative was at times I felt chilly, but I wondered if the main door of the pub had been left open as I knew the radiator near me was working. I would highly recommend and I know I will return
