Lived 5mins down the road for over 12 years been going over 12 years always had a great experience and such friendly staff food is lovely bit more pricy than other places but can’t complain

We ordered for delivery but refused to to deliver even though we are local. Said they couldn’t park up even though plenty of parking. Good food if you can pick up but very inflexible otherwise. Also only take cash payments.

Sadly very disappointed, obviously reheated and all over cooked and dry. Terrible food for the amount that we paid. We have avoided this place for some time due to this and gave it another chance tonight. Still the same, so won’t be trying again in the future. Also oddly, STILL only taking cash with a new excuse.

We used to live 5 minutes walk from this takeaway and visited regularly. We have since moved to Spain, but recently made a trip to the UK. Despite staying in a hotel 10 miles away we placed the order and drove to collect our favourite takeaway. It did not disappoint and we ate it in our hotel room. I tried to get the mandarin sauce recipe from them but was told it was a secret .

We were celebrating my mothers 80th and dropped a pre order into Gourmet. The service was outstanding. I met Wei and her husband who went above and beyond to accommodate. We ordered over 40 dishes across their menu. Collected the following day without any issues all food fresh, piping hot and tasted delicious. Made for a fantastic evening thank you.
