Cafe Francais - Surgères

The best bistro food and service we had experienced in the region. This is the local pub and local food..... fabulous!!!!

Lovely cafe for whiling away the time. Had coffee, beer and an alcohol free drink sat outside in the sunshine. The owner is friendly and helpful and there is free WiFi. Good wc facilities and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if you’re visiting Surgeres.

We stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Had a lovely meal, all four of us really happy with the food, the friendly atmosphere and staff. Would eat here again. Generous portions for the price.

I was part of a bloke group of fast bikers on route from La rochelle to Marmande, this was our Breakfast stop, we were not disappointed. We sat outside, in a lovely square, watching the world go by. The hostess spoke excellent English, which...was a great help !!!. We had a simple breakfast of bread, hams and cheeses, washed down with several coffees, great and excellent value for money.

Leuk om op het plein aan het terras te zitten; misschien een beetje last van het verkeer maar niettemin een leuk plaatsje om te zitten. Eénmaal bij verblijf een dagschotel gegeten (>10€), was een aanrader; veel en lekker voor weinig geld.
