A staple for breakfast and lunch, the menu is simple and reasonably priced. The laminated menu offers a limited selection of breakfast items, hash browns, eggs, bacon, and of course, waffles. Don't bother asking for pancakes though. For lunch, the options are even more limited with Angus burgers and Texas melts being the main offerings. Some locations are rumored to serve T-bone steaks and pork chops, but I have yet to find one that does. Luckily, I think my search may be over. Most of the seating is situated around the cooking area, allowing servers to bring your order directly from the grill. There are also booths along the walls for a more traditional dining experience. Despite it being lunchtime, I opted for the sausage, egg, cheese, and hash brown bowl. The dish consisted of perfectly cooked hash browns with crispy edges, topped with scrambled eggs, Jimmy Dean sausage patties, and melted American cheese. The quality and quantity were both impressive, leaving me satisfied with every bite.
I have nothing but good things to say about Waffle House. Every time I visit a state with one, I make sure to stop by because there is something unique about them! The food is consistently delicious, the employees are friendly to chat with, and they take care of their staff. The Waffle House at Myrtle Beach was no different - it was a fantastic experience!
Tana, our waitress, provided excellent service. The food arrived quickly and was served hot. We had the cookies and gravy, eggs, toast, hash browns, and pecan waffle. Cheryl, the cook, did a great job – the food was both hot and delicious.
It helps us to be just one of two tables in the store... The waiter was a little kooky and the conversation was somehow juvenile between the staff, but they did an excellent job waiting on my table. I was impressed by the fact that the waiter said a little tag while at the table, but apologised immediately because he didn't want to do it before my children. The food was excellent and he did a good job to take care of us.
My grandsons and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at our local Surfside Beach Waffle House before going bowling. Prices are great and our food was served fresh and hot from the grill...we watched as our food was cooked. The place was uncrowded, and our waitress was attentive to us throughout our meal. All in all, an enjoyable experience. The boys liked the mini chocolate chips on their waffles.
