Thalaivaa The South Indian - Sūrat

When I entered the restaurant, I feel in a temple because it is ambience and scent. The best authentic South Indian restaurant in Surat. Far better than Sankalp and Madras Café. You can't get the taste of Mysore Café and Saynath, but it's very good for something else. It costs 400-450 per pair. Must try mendu wada and thali.

If you want to try something else in South Indian food, other than idalis and dosas than Thalaivaa is the best option... I just loved her interior and seat arrangements..we ored: 1)Patta dosa (her special): it was steamed in banana leaf and the taste was amazing...loved the Sambhar and Chatni served with him. 2)kuzzhi paniyaram:rice Bowls..crispy out side,inside soft.. I found it okay in the taste staff was friendly, but service was slow.

Good place to feel south indian atmosphere and food. But little bit costly and even it may be possible that taste of food is not liked at all. It may be a brand in South India but here in surat, I assume that people can't tolerate this taste. My review : Not recommended, especially with your dear one.

The best place for authentic South Indian food in surat. The Dosa and Uttapam are good, but the Platter and South Indian thali are simply amazing to try a must for South Indian food lovers. Don't forget to have a filter of coffee in the end.

Always been a very big fan of South India food and cuisine, Thalaivaa really is a wonderful restaurant for experiencing delightful South Indian cuisine and lots items to choose from menu and enjoy a good get together with family and friends.......
