A Dozen Excuses Donuts More - Superior

The donuts were delicious and made in-house. The woman working at the counter was very friendly. I definitely plan on returning!

Upon entering the restaurant, the delightful aroma was immediately inviting. The menu offered a diverse selection of freshly made donuts. Our choices included a chocolate frosted donut filled with custard, a banana split donut, and a maple frosted Persian donut. All of them were delicious options.

Stopped and got a treat on Tuesday on our way back home. Wonderful apple fritters and filled long john. Coffee was excellent! You should try this little shop!

My mother and aunt ordered a cake for my baby shower this past weekend. They had gone to the store and sampled cake and fell in love with an almond flavored cake with Bavarian cream. They proceeded to order this for the main cake and then ordered 60cupcakes in vanilla and chocolate. The cupcakes were horribly dry, making it difficult to swallow them. The buttercreamfrosting on the top was an inch thick and so sweet every person scooped this off. The cake was a completely screwed up order.It was supposed the be a lightly tinted pink cake with a white frosting that was sprayed pink. It was neon pink frosting withwhite cake. The cake itself was supposed to be almond flavor with Bavarian cream. Not one guest could taste the almond and themiddle cream was a horrible, thick, way-to-sweet butter cream, same as the buttercream on the outside. The cake itself was verydry. Not one guest finished their piece of cake. Overall, the cake and cupcakes tasted like they were made 3 days ago. The restof the cake went in the garbage can. When my aunt went to pick up the cake, it was 80 dollars more than was quoted. And thecheck-out gal was trying to push them to give a tip on top of the much larger bill. The only joy out of this cake was the ownerpushed her cards on us to put by the cake so people knew where we ordered this from. At least all the guests at the party willnot be tricked I to ordering horrible deserts from this bakery.

I have never been disappointed by A Dozen Excuses. Their cake doughnuts are the best I have ever tasted, and the fritters and other doughnuts are also delicious. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee or a bottle of juice while you're there. If you're there during lunch, don't miss out on their Coney dogs served on freshly baked buns - they are very good!
