Contribuiți la feedback[Let down the 3rd time by the owner]Came here three times for the taste of Vietnam's Hanoian pho as recommended by a friend, each time tried different type including chicken, brisket and now minced beef with ginger since it's chilly outside. The first two times were no less than a pleasant experience, especially loved the smooth silky noodle strands. This time, it's a bit of a let down, as it seemed the cook had mixed old and new beef together, giving some beef clusters very mild rotten smell when chewed. Privately talked to the owner but he denied at first, then said he'd talk to the chef, but yeah, whatever... Knowing that it's a typical attitude where he came from, I didn't want to argue. Still, this restaurant will retain a loyal group of clientele.
Manager needs anger management and customer skills.
This isn't a review but a message for the owners. I genuinely hope it helps. I had a banh mi next door and noticed you are having an ongoing problem with non customers using your outdoor tables. I understand that would be frustrating. Can I offer a much more effective solution than writing over and over on the tables, telling people not use them, in a repeated scrawl that no-one is reading. Instead, keep the chairs and tables clean and tidily arranged and dress them up with tablecloths and menus. You can use the outdoor tables to entice people into your restaurant. And people will immediately notice the difference between your tables and next doors. If you want to add a note about non customers not using them, get some cheap brochure display holders from Officeworks. An upright sign will be noticed more. But more attractive tables and menus will be a lot more effective. All the best.
Family night out took the whole family to Vu gia for the first time and ordered the pipi xo and the hotpot set with fish and it was really nice and full of flavour that broth was like tomyum but added abit heat to make it more spicy. Everyone had a good time and the owner was really friendly and welcoming
In Sunshine, there is a lot of competition among restaurants, but this place certainly holds its own. The rice paper rolls are incredibly fresh and the pho broth is full of flavor. It's definitely a good spot for a lunch outing.
