Stouthaus Coffee Sunset Valley

Love coffee places like this. It was crowed, but comfortable and the drinks were great.

High quality espresso, super friendly staff and a great place to work, meet a friend, or read a book. Also, their roasted beans are great. 10/10.

In every city I've lived, I have always had a favorite coffeeshop, but Stouthaus holds a special place in my heart. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is... Yes, the coffee is delicious (lot's of places have delicious coffee), the atmosphere is great (like other coffeeshops too), baristas are personable, friendly, attentive (not uncommon). It's kind of inexplicable... I don't drink alcohol, so the bar feature isn't something I care about. The food is good, but it's just basic oatmeal, pastries, Taco Deli, etc. And if I am being really honest, the chairs and benches are kind of hard and not comfortable for extended periods of time. And yet, I eagerly and happily return, almost daily, because I just love being here. If I go on vacation or can't come by for a few days, I actually MISS it. It is my sanctuary, my magic vortex of productivity, my happy place. Thank you, Stouthaus! I am so grateful that you are in my neighborhood <3

Maybe a little hidden, but the espresso is excellent, the environment is quiet and you can relax with serenity.
