Sunrise Cantina - Sunrise Beach

After a not so pleasant experience with the hostess, we were seatedI was glad the waitress and another person helping with our table were much kinder.

The margarita was ok and that string cheese and chips was pretty good and wasn't really happy with the chipotle steak burrito from there for $15 it should

The food was fantasticThe portions were more than enoughAs one lady put it"I love the tamales, one isn't enough but two is too much.

I don't doubt it. When you are up you have no where to go but down. None of the food here is real Mexican anyway. The place in Camdenton has always been decent. By McDonalds.

The Sunrise Cantina so many of us have loved, for so many years, unfortunately, is gone. It has been replaced with the same second rate, so called Mexican food that is being served at way to many, almost identical, restaurants that have been opened here at the lake and surrounding areas in the last few years. We will miss our favorite Mexican restaurant.
