Rasam's Ic Lounge - Sunnyvale

If you're looking for a birthday cake or one for a special occasion, I highly recommend ordering from this bakery! I chose them because they're conveniently located in downtown, and they only require a two-day notice for orders (unlike other places that need a week in advance!). I've ordered from their 'French Collection' twice, and I love the taste—it’s amazing, and the sugar content is minimal! My first order was a raspberry cream cake with liquor, and the second was a tiramisu cake with espresso and rum. Both were absolutely delicious! I also appreciated that they didn't charge me for adding "Happy Birthday" on the cake. The 8-inch cake, which serves about 8-10 people, was only $40. Definitely recommend!

The chocolate cake slice was enjoyable, but it wasn't anything spectacular. Some dishes, like the quinoa avocado salad and the fish and chips, were quite good, while others fell short. For instance, their breakfast roast is served on slices of bread that are too thick.

The Cobb salad was enjoyable, but they ran out of bleu cheese dressing without informing me beforehand. The wait for the food was lengthy, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Additionally, when I asked for olive oil and vinegar, the server brought me an Italian vinaigrette instead. I would consider returning since it was convenient overall, but I would definitely want to clarify everything when placing my order next time.

We've now had breakfast here too! I actually love this place for breakfast they have both the small coffee bar feel and actual plated breakfasts. We both had benedicts that were well worth both the wait (short) and cost (good for the portions).

Great place to try a good variety of local craft beers. Right around the corner from Murphy Street. Food was pretty good too and there was great outdoor seating. Very casual, you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Would definitely go back.
