Kabul Afghan Cuisine - Sunnyvale

I have been going to kabul afghan restaurant since its opening over 30 years. it was always fantastic, consistent, and eating is always fresh and tasty. the owner mr. najib and his son edris are very friendly and they supervise the operation. the staff is very friendly and the service is great. these are few pictures of our orders. the Auberginen-Appetizer melts in her mouth. the pumpkin appetizer is mouthwater the image does not make it right, as we order the toppings (yogurt sauce and tomato meat sauce) on the side.) the meat and the chicken are very juicy and cooked for perfection. the ambiente is elegant and the decor is tasteful. we visited this restaurant very often. I highly recommend it.

Incredible! Ordered the mantu dumplings and the kafta kebob, was really surprised with it overall. Most places will give you a small kebob, or 2 very small ones, whereas the picture he truly captures the portion size they serve. More importantly though, it tasted great! Staff serving me were super friendly as well and very attentive!

We tried the combo kabab and it was really delicious but the plate comes only with rice and not other sides, so you will have to pay any sauces or sides which I found them a little overpriced. I think the plate needs to come with at least one yogurt sauce since the plate was very dry.

We had our company group lunch here at Kabul Afghan Cuisine. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the combination kabab lunch platter. Loved it. ?? I would recommend.

I ordered Bulanee Kachalu and Qabali Pallow. Its my first time ordering food from this restaurant and am not satisfied at all.1. Pricing not matching with the quantity of food.2. Taste was horrible especially kachalu taste very funny may be stuffing is expired or something.3. In pallow quatity of rasin and carrot is more then rice.I did call the restaurant and all they have for me is SOORY SIR.BOTTOM LINE IS IF YOU ARE SERVING FOOD IN GOOD NEIGHBORHOOD TRY TO GIVE GOOD QUALITY FOOD NOT THE DECOR AND AMBIENCE.
