Bawarchi - Sunnyvale

This particular Bawarchi location is possibly the worst we've ever experienced. The Chicken 555 and Chicken Majestic were terrible - they were old and dry. We used to love Bawarchi in Colorado, where the starters and biriyani were always delicious. However, the one in California was a disappointment. We ordered the same menu we enjoyed in Colorado, but the taste was completely different and not in a good way. The overall quality was just awful. It seems like this branch of Bawarchi is very irresponsible. We recommend avoiding it at all costs as it is a waste of money.

We have called the restaurant twice in the last two days, and the response from the staff member has been extremely poor. The owner of this establishment should provide better training on how to respond to customer inquiries. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again and do not recommend it to anyone.

I love the food at this restaurant. I usually stick to basics when it comes to Indian food, like chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. It's a perfect way to end my day! My only suggestion is to avoid ordering online through their website, as there seems to be an issue with the orders getting through. It's better to just call and place your order instead.

We ordered mutton dum biryani and Vijayawada chicken biryani, what a disappointment. This place has gone down like crazy from 5* to 0. This used to be the place for iconic red colored vijayawada chicken biryani when it was introduced in 2012 before any one in the Bay Area. The chicken and mutton were stale, rice is dry, the salan was watered down like some one added a cup of water just before handing it to me. Damn everything was bad. Please buck up or you will have to shut shop soon. I would absolutely warn folks from going to this place.

Worst customer service ever! And the place is so dirty and stinky. One particular person on the cash is rude as if we were there for free food!!Please inspect this place.They are charging 3.5% fee for card payment. They won’t tell about this. Be careful.Worst experience ??
